I just edited the thread title to be a bit more informative-

No worries to post images like these....but I personally have a hard time looking at them with enough depth and concentration to make a useful comment....(actually I don't even fully look to be honest).

That said - I do know that plenty of people have no issues with these types of pics. All good. All part of life. Just tough for wimps like me to look at.

Poor thing. Someone shot and killed three magpies in my backyard a couple of weeks ago and I was more than a little upset by that.

It is a good photo. The fly is rather disturbing.

indeed, it is shot well ... most likely twice, once with a camera ...

Love the black and white, really adds to the image; death is part of the circle of life; this is not as grapic as some other shots I have seen here before. Well executed (pardon the black humour).
