Just brilliant Marko, but please don't ask for a favourite - all are great. If I must, I would probably give the nod to images 2 & 3 as my preferred, with the no 4 (with less movement) as least preferred.

This is one of those times we could do with Matt's "envy" button

Image 1 and 3 are very intriguing. NOt so sure about 4 and 5, What were you trying to achieve? Did you want the background sharp, and just the dancers a bit in motion blur, or did you want everything a bit blurry? The zoom motion works best in image 1 methinks. Nice series altogether.

It's #1 and #3 for me. The sense of motion is almost dizzying.... #1 takes the nod but I kind of wish she wasn't in the photo... with the fellow in dark clothing dead centre it really brings in a focus point for the streaks of light.

Thanks so much for the comments everyone - muchly appreciated.
Matt - 1-3 were the intended images and what I was aiming for. 4-5 (especially 4) were images that I wasn't intending but rather just playing with after the fact.

All very interesting creative artwork Marko, but #3 is the winner for me also.

Come on Marko, you need to go back to Photography 101!!! First basic rule is to hold the camera steady!!!

j/k

I like the dancers' poses in #2 but I like the blue light in #3.

great images!!!!

I think its image 1 for me, but like the whole series. The location and lighting with the dancers are interesting enough, but I like the aspect that the camera movement adds.

Yes, they are all very nice. The second, however, is exquisite.

1,2, and 3 are a real cool series. Love them. 2 is my fave but I like them in a series.

But you have ballet dancers on a cement side walk at night in the cool air? What sort of impudence is this?

Thanks for the additional comments - seems like lots of folks appreciate this series :)

Jas_photo - Cool night air? No chance - it was hot.
