This is also in Waterton National Park. If you really strain your eyes, you can see the "Prince of Whales" hotel kinda sorta on the light green ridge, hidden by some dark green spruce. A part of the roof is visible. By the way, if you ever go to the park, don't stay in that hotel. It looks awesome from the outside, but has tiny little rooms, drafty as hell, and the service is "none".

...don't stay in that hotel.
Looks like a splendid place for a nap at the very least. I love to camp near something like this.
Beautiful photograph.

Lovely composed shot Matt. Perfect exposure, and love the leading lines taking the eye back through to the hotel on the skyline. Well done.

Ummm, this is bear country, so I would not recommend napping too long. While I was busy taking this image a Grizzly appeared behind me, then my wife screamed .... she has no patience and undoubtedly wanted to go for a whiskey sour .....

When I was a kid we spent every summer camping here. Yep, and in a tent and yep there were bears. The lake is a glacier lake and you can not swim in it because it is so cold; the wind howls across the mountains endlessly; you wake up in the morning and there is frost on your milk, by noon it is 90 F. I loved it! I still have a soft spot in my heart for it. :)
Lovely shot, Matt.
