Made use of the long weekend to try out my new (used) Tokina 12-24 f4. I really like the lens, and since I was looking for a wide angle, that is the one I finally decided on (the eBay @ $320.00 price was right!!!!). It is a wonderfully sharp lens, and I do not miss the 4 extra millimeters the Sigma would have given me. I like the fact that I can use a polarizer on the lens, which really comes in handy with the Alberta sky .... first one is a panorama, with the large size to be found here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/photokubitza/7505356488/sizes/o/in/photostream/):
