My second born son is a month old so I went in and held up a blanket and took some quick shots. They are not my best but I loved them. But, I still like critique so I thought I would post a few of my favorites.

First off congrats and what a cutie :highfive:
One of my photography teachers once told me that babies are just pudding with eyes until they are about two...
I like these but I think they'd be stronger if baby were propped up more (in a car seat or on blankets) so that his gaze would be more toward the camera.
Hope that helps,
Marko

Grats to you Mindforge! What a handsome fella...
I try to stay away from crits when I'm using my laptop because the monitor is so weak, but these look like they could be a touch warmer in kelvin IMO...
otherwise great exposure of the iris... the positons could be better but it's so hard when they are like little jelly beans....
nice work

Once they are two -- they are nearly impossible to photograph. Almost like I need a really fast lens, full daylight and a patch of super glue on the ground to get my eldest son (3 years) in good shots. Imagine the low light, no-flash aquarium yesterday... good god, he is a blur in every shot.
