What a lovely scene, Geoff. I love it when you can see the light rays like that and I really like the way the fence lines pull you to the centre to see them. Excellent shot.:thumbup:

What a beautiful scene. Love how the fence on the left gives a leading line to the sun rays.

Beautiful capture. Love the leading lines in the foreground taking the eye into the background and that dramatic sky/lighting. Can almost feel the winds starting to pick up just before that distant front moves through. Wonderful mood here.

SUPERB. I was looking to buy a wide angle, I think you have given me a very good reason to go with the Tokina! Very dramatic shot, love it!

Definitely one of those 'calm before the storm' shots! Mmmm, wide angle lenses. One of these days I'll have something other than my standard kit lens. :p

That is a wonderful dramatic sky and light rays, and the tones of the fence matching the sky look great.

Beautiful photo...wonderful composition...amazing tones and colors!
And If you want to impress your friends, scientifically, those are known as 'crepuscular' rays....
