A super pod came in yesterday, with all 3 resident pods coming together. This is J, K and L pods. If you don't know much about the southern resident killer whale's you can read about them here

Nice captures. I especially like the "tail surfing" one.

The Sea Lion images in the video are cool too.

Cool set Jude. They are amazing creatures. It is hard to comprehend the power required to get them out of the water like that. Nice video too.

Thanks guys, I'm fortunate indeed to live in a place where these whales live for most of the year. There is nothing like seeing and hearing them in the wild. Unfortunately a large amount of this endangered population was killed and captured for the captive entertainment industry. Between 1965-1975, 45 whales where captured and 13 killed in capture attempts. Go whale watching with a responsible company that follows the guidelines, dont support marine parks!
