Nice shot and nice perspective. I don't think I've ever seen one of these before.....quite a fish!

Awesome catch Larry, and the fish is nice too. Agree with Aub in the perspective. Shows their "weapons" very well.
Used to get a lot of these in Stokes Bay area on Bruce Peninsula, lot of fun to catch.

Hillbillygirl.......small world,a few years back I spent a week at Stokes Bay. Went to a park with a very shallow beach , one of few places that has Pitcher plants.

Great catch (both image and fish)
Those monsters get to near 10ft long down here (3 meters)

Holy moley- I don't know where this was, but I don't think I'll ever swim in freshwaters again.

Cool looking fish. I have never seen one of these before. Is this what happens when crocodile is crossed with a fish??:)
