We all have experiences with perspective distortion. Some photographs like this effect or even like more with using super wide angle lens.
Sometimes we like to fix this barrel distortion. I will not go in details from where this distortion comes. It is a lot info on net. I will say only
that how much distortion is depends on sensor size and focal length. I will try here to explain how this new tool in cs6 works. This tool not
only fix horizontal and vertical lines but also curvature which is the real problem.

TOOL IS IN FILTER MENU ----ADAPTIVE WIDE ANGLE

ON RIGHT SIDE IS PALLET WITH SLIDERS. FIRST IS A BOX WITH SOME CORRECTION PRESETS WHICH I WILL EXPLAIN ON NEXT IMAGE.
SECOND IS A SCALE SLIDER WHICH WE CAN USE IT AFTER FINISHED CORRECTION AND IT IS ACTUALLY CROP TOOL. YOU CAN USE TI
THIS CROP TOOL HERE OR YOU CAN USE IT CROP TOOL IN MAIN PHOTOSHOP WINDOW. SPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE TO FILL EMPTY SPACES
WITH CONTENT-AWARE MOVE TOOL.
THIRD IS A FOCAL LENGTH SLIDER WHICH IS AUTOMATICALLY SET. PROGRAM DETECTION.
LAST IS CROP FACTOR WHICH SHOW HOW MUCH IS SENSOR SMALLER THEN FULL FRAME (24x35mm). THIS NUMBER WILL BE IMPORTANT LATTER
WHEN I WILL GIVE YOU ONE TIP FOR EVEN EASIER WORK.
AS SHOT CHECK BOX IS FOR WHEN YOU LIKE TO GO BACK ON DEFAULT SETTINGS OF FOCAL LENGTH AND CROP FACTOR.
TIP: IF YOU LIKE START FROM BEGINNING FOR ANY REASON THEN PRESS ALT BUTTON ON KEYBOARD-HOLD IT AND WITH MOUSE ON CANCEL BUTTON WHICH
IS NOT ANYMORE CANCEL BUT RESET.

This image show correction presets. Question is when and why to use it. With selected preset we tell to program which kind correction
need to use. First you can try auto if you are lucky program will recognize your lens. Than you will have image without barrel distortion.
But you still need to fix perspective. If program give you a message that not have this lens on list then you need to do it manually.
Not worry it is easy. Then you need to choose between fisheye and perspective presets. Just click on one of them and then second one and look
which one is close to fixed image. Stay with one which is better. In manual mode you will have still some barrel distortion.

HERE IS A TIP HOW TO FIX BARREL DISTORTION IN MANUAL MODE WITH HELP OF CROP FACTOR.
FOCAL LENGTH WHICH YOU SEE IN PALLET MULTIPLY WITH CROP FACTOR. THEN YOU NEED TO SET FOCAL LENGTH SLIDER ON THIS NUMBER.
(EXAMPLE: 18mm x 1.5 = 27mm) NOW IMAGE NOT HAVE ANY BARREL DISTORTION AND WE NEED TO FIX ONLY PERSPECTIVE.
THIS IS AN EXPLANATION OF TOOL AND NOW WE CAN START TO WORK.

You will need to choose one vertical line on image and click on the beginning and drag line to the end. You will get line how you see
on image. Now you need to know what you can do with this line. You can do it reposition if you need it with click and drag white anchor
number 1. Number 2 is a center of line and can be drag it left or right to fix barrel distortion if you not use my tip above.
If you look closely anchor 2 you will see that line is not straight but it is curve. To fix that just drag anchor 2 close to the vertical edge.
Result is on second image.
