Went to Frank Lake today; suppose it is a bit early yet for most of the varieties to show themselves. So my first impression was: Man, it's amazinge what the wind can blow around!

Then I went into the blind; caught this Blue Winged Teal. Apparently one of the first ones back from South America. The critters travel farthest south, so I have been told ....

Last but not least I caught this Franklin's Gull in flight ... (man, I love my 300mm)
