This image of my friend, Nelson from "The Rogues" walking away down the road towards the interstate (he was looking for a place to stop and pose) made me think of a musician headed off to the main highway, to perhaps score a ride into a new life.

Very cool image - I dig the comp, perspective, sharpness on foreground guitar and the person on the opposite side of the road.

Thanx, mates, for the kind words.
I ALMOST cropped that person out, but decided against it to add some life into the scene. Different than having a car or other vehicle (unless it was a Studebaker or other 50's era auto)

Great photo journalism. Love the black and white treatment, love the way the road curves away into the 'unknown'. Great story!

Love this shot. So glad you didnt remove the other person. It really adds another dimension & makes you wonder about the story behind the shot

Excellent, and good title :) I don't think he needs to pose, this could be the cover of his next album!
