I've been playing with intentional camera movement for the past few months and this is an image that I really dig. (enough that it's the first image you'll see at a new site that just went up)
I've actually started a new site at markokulik.com (http://markokulik.com) with additional images if anyone is interested. Please feel free to critique this image and that website as a whole. Thanks!

Like it a lot so cool results. I have working only with vertical camera movement and this is surprising for me.Looks like horizontal movement but I am not sure.
Great site too.Very fast and simple to navigate.Very impressive gallery specially portraits.

Love it - I keep reopening the thread to have another look.
I am intrigued by the process for the capture. To my eye the movement seems different at the top of the image than the bottom.
I am not sure of the protocol here, but if I may be so bold as to ask - Am I imagining this?, is it due to the perspective? or is it a combination of rotation and panning? I am perplexed and fascinated . I understand if you prefer to keep this to yourself.
However it is done, I love it

Thanks for the comments! - This image is one frame and is the result of camera motion during a long exposure, (I can't recall the exact motion i used but it wasn't completely linear) in this case using the awesome 14-24 Nikkor. It took quite a few tries over 2 shooting sessions.

Very well done Marko. Not too over the top with the movement. As you said, must take a lot of time and patience to get this just right as you did. combination of movement and yet still enough clarity is a tough balance to achieve in these.
