these are two pictures I took back in the fall, i know that there are some hot spots in her face but when fixing them it looked like i was doing more good than harm. any way let me know what you all think, and what could be better.

The expressions in both shots are wonderful.

That said, both shots need work. The background is too overexposed and so is the subject's face in the 'petals in the air shot'. There is also an orangey cast to both shots.

Hope that helps

Love the composition and you captured her expressions just great.

Maybe play with the white balance some if you shoot RAW ??

Maybe B&W ??

You shoot in raw or jpg and what do you use for post processing?

That would be a cool project to have you guys get the RAW file and see what you can do with it. :)

I really like these shots. Technical details aside (which are important but have already been covered well by the other commenters) the poses and the model are really charming and really great/professional looking.

I'd be pretty happy to have taken these! Good job...

Agree with the others about the expressions, composition, et al; well done. With respect to the exposure, there were two options. 1. Use fill light to evenly illuminate the subject and reduce the overall exposure, or 2. (Better) reposition your subject to make best use of the exisiting natural light.
