This is why I wanted the new point and shoot. maxi was watching for birds on the deck and sitting right in a shaft of light. Used to be I'd have to dig out the big gun and on my return she'd be asleep:laughing:

I agree, it is a beautiful picture - the depth of field is great. And I can relate...my cats can be cute but rarely hold the pose for me.
