Stairs

These stairs are the Lieutenant Goveneur's entrance to Queens Park.

Interesting, security (Ontario Provincial Police) came by and gave me no hassle at all for taking pictures. I asked them if it was OK and they said no problem. Surprising since this is a government building. I guess I looked more like a tourist than a terrorist.

Thanks MA. I think there were more photo opportunities I missed. I rented a 10-22 lens and was trying to make the rounds of several places to test it out and had limited time. I will have to make a return trip for more pictures.

Thanks Iggy and Richard. That is strange, I didn't notice the difference in the pillars until you pointed that out. Wonder what the architech's reason was for doing that.

Very cool composition. I stopped trying to figure out reasoning behind some architects a long time ago!
