Louisiana "Yard Dog" - alligator

Finally shot my first alligators in the wild. They are both babies. The one in the algae is probably 2-3 ft long and the one on the log was probably less than 2 ft long. He was shot from about 150 ft away, thats why he is soft in the eyes, he was so small and so far away.

Definitely the one on the log is better, but it was a hard shot from a long distance and he was so small. Funny thing about the one in the algae, he was the first one I saw. I must have over looked him ten times before I realized it was a gator. The first couple shots of him, just his head was sticking out. He looked like a piece of wood. After a couple shots, he raised up like he is in this shot.

Do you think I should level the log?
