I think this must be a very difficult shot exposure wise. You have captured reflections in the leather, the floors and the wall as well as properly exposed the window. Lovely indoor HDR. Can you tell us a bit more about how you went about it - bracketing exposures?

Thanks all! After I posted this, I had second thoughts about the area of the fireplace that has the sun on it. Despite the HDR, it was still too bright so I tried burning it in a bit. In doing so, I left a bad demarcation line. I meant to come back later and fix it but got busy so did not get a chance. :) Anyway here is the revised version:

It is still not exactly what I wanted but it does not irritate me quite so much.

Marko, I pretty much agree with you about hanging animal heads on the wall. Not my cup of tea either. That said, the club actually has quite a few. Two bison, one of which is very large and very old, a musk ox, two wolve's heads, one of them an alpha wolf shot fairly recently on a member's ranch, an elk, and another deer. In their defence I will say the Club goes back to 1891 and this location to 1914. Ranchers would come to town, take care of whatever business they had then go to the Club to socialize and the Club also had overnight accommodations back then. Hunting- big game and birds such as pheasants or quail would have been very popular back then. The Club was originally in a boxcar as there was no place else to go at the time. We have a set photos at the Club featuring all those founding members posing next to a wolves' head on the wall and indeed one of the lounges has the name, "The Wolves Den" from that time.

Mike, it is a 6 frame (I accidently deleted one of 7 :headslap: ) Three stops under, two stops over HDR processed in Nik HDR software. I use LR. I then cropped it slightly- part of a track light was showing and burned in the fireplace area a bit- I then sent it to Photoshop Elements and put it through a Topaz filter for more clarity and sharpness.

I never give up, lol. I have PSE 10, recently downloaded but never had a chance to learn all of the new gizmos in it, one of them being content aware fill. The little edge that was bothering me on the previous photos just went away fairly simply.
