I was researching some photography related subjects online and fell across this amazing series from 1983 about the Master Photographers. I am just watching the one on Ansel Adams now. In the series they interview the photographers also, so hearing from them is amazing. The video quality is not the best. It is a six part series and I can only find 4 parts of it, if I find the other two I will post them.

Part 1 - Jacques-Henri-Charles-Auguste Lartigue (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1134319457685102524&q=source:014077462119862840343&hl=en)

Part 2 - Andre Kertesz (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4221154340966078477&q=source:014077462119862840343&hl=en)

Part 3 - Bill Brandt (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7498812648377438880&q=source:014077462119862840343&hl=en)

Part 4 - Ansel Adams (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=410465473434476327&q=source:014077462119862840343&hl=en)

These are familiar I'll have a relook. The other 2 were Eisenstaedt and Feininger.
Many thanks as always for the link!!

Just rewatched the Bill Brandt one. Fabulous fabulous printing and composition even in the lowish quality video!

I more than likely have seen these also, they have a familiarity to me also. I enjoyed the one with Jacques Henri, just seems we agree on a lot. I will be watching the Brandt one later today, just watched two and will see the other two sometime today. I just love these interviews with these artists at these late stages in their lives, find them very inspiring and interesting.

I agree. I also find that they are in general very 'giving' of their secrets...though in the Brandt one there was a high contrast image whose recipe Brandt wanted to keep secret.

thx again for posting the links!
