View Full Version : Eilean Donan Castle - trying again

Here's a more traditional view of the castle.



The first shot was taken at f7.1, 1/100 sec, ISO 250, the second shot was taken at 1/250 sec, all other settings the same.

The lens used was a Nikkor 24-70, f2.8. the shot was handheld although I was braced against the wall.

The two images were combined and edited in Photoshop to create an older more dramatic look.

Your feedback would be really appreciated.

Looks like a nice effort. However, being so small it's a bit hard to critique properly.

I like this one much more! I love the curve leading your eye up to the castle. I do wonder if maybe taking a few steps right so the stone doesn't create a straight line in the picture would help the flow of the picture. I almost want to crop it just below those 3 arches.
