Nice shot. I spend a fair bit of time waiting in the car for my wife as well ;)

Love that lens too! :)

not bad. The colors are nice. Good job thinking ahead and then enacting on that.

You know, I didn't realize this was in critique, so here's my input - maybe a touch of contrast boost here, particularly in the mid-range would help this. Also I'd like a more harmonious OOF swath of flowers back there; it seems cut off to me. Otherwise, good job.

Is empty back there, background is neighbors driveway(along bottom)grass and dark green bushes in back.Have to pay more attention to empty backgrounds.
Thanks.

I did not realize it was the critiques thread either. D'oh!

I really like the composition with the empty triangle in the upper left. I like the focus and the colour and brightness just the way it is. The water drops indicate a grey and drab day and that's what I feel even though I'm looking at a very lovely flower. Of course, I'm on my work computer so maybe I'm being fooled. If there is anything I would do to make this image stronger I would chop off the right hand side very close to the right-most petal of the main flower. This would move the flower out of the centre and give more strength to the negative space.

I love the colours here. Nice shot!

Of topic, but can you use the Sigma 70-300 on a 5D?

Thanks for comment on the lilly shot.
im sure the 5d can use the sigma 70-300mm(made for canon),a nice " L" lens would be nice for the 5d,my 50d will have to wait for one of those.
