I really like this image, but I've never asked for another photographer's opinion. Does it work for you?

I took the shot earlier this year at an overpass construction site just south of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was in the early afternoon on a clear day so the light filtering in was intense--hence the "glowing" effect on the whites.

I like it, but in my opinion it is not "strong" enough in giving me a clear indication of the subject - is it the repeating columns or the tension of the cross wires. I do like where this was going, a slightly different angle may have made the composition stronger. But, when it is all said and done -it is your composition and if it pleases you, enjoy it!

I like this comp very much, except the bright almost blown white post. That post steals the show for me. I would have tried to eliminate it if possible.
Hope that helps - marko

That glowing white post (and all the other "glowing" elements) actually makes the shot for me because it adds a kind of hyperreal feeling to the scene. Otherwise, it's just a composition of posts and struts at a construction site.
