On a visit home to Wales stopped off at Dunraven Bay. There was a mist out at sea and these fantastic cliffs. It used to be part of the estate of the local manor and for no apparent reason these stone steps had been cut into the headland, they didn't lead to anywhere they were just there!

hm...they're nice snaps, but I can't make more of them than that. Maybe if there were something in that landscape and the light were better. And the stairs, while nice, just sort of lie there. It happens though. Not everything can be a compelling picture all the time.

I'm gonna disagree with the snapshot comment especially for shot 1. I see a deliberate comp and my eye is being guided nicely in a diagonal fashion.
That said, it is missing that 'it' factor as WD points out. I think it needed a rock formation or a nude sunbather in the emptier spot at midleft. If only we could make these things happen at will :)
