Star trails (using stacking software)

Here it is - Science world in Vancouver, BC. It was tricky because the sky was bright due the city lights. 58 images; 30 second exposure each; f6.2.

Very effective. I think I'd clone out that aircraft light trail and the other streak that's on an odd angle. Can you also blend in one of the originals to get better exposure in the blown out sections of the city lights?

Just re-visiting this one. Even though the star trails are the main 'focus' for you here ... I think the scene needs more at rthe bottom. I think more of the water reflections would have added something.

I have to agree here also. I think there's real potential for something wonderful here if a wider angle was used. Would be stunning to get the North Star in there for more of a rotation feel as well as the lights and water. Perhaps the area just won't allow for that to happen, but worth a try.

Thanks for the comments! I am using a 22-55mm lens. at 22mm, i had to make a decision to cut off the reflections at the bottom. Maybe I could try a vertical pano shot with the first frame being the water and reflections, and the remaining frames being the rest of the scene above water, and stitch them together later...
