Actually my husband indulged my love of old cemeteries today. He's used to it by now. This is the Old Hill Burying Ground in Concord, Mass. Established 1673, oldest grave is 1677. Some of the best stone carving I've ever seen is in this graveyard. Amazing work. Real artistry. Here are two of my favorite shots. And yeah, Bambi wants a color version already! :laughing:

Concord, Lincoln and Lexington are the towns that had some of the earliest battles in the American War for Independence and it was a timely visit for sure.
