View Full Version : Yellow Line
Nothing exciting, just wanted to do one of those winding road shots that everyone does :)

Very crisp shot with a lot of depth, very nice. Although the line painter looks like he had a bit too much recreational drugs to keep the line in the centre, lol

Nicely done! I'd work on it in more in post to bring up the colours and contrast to make it sing a bit, but it's a nice shot.

Love this. I always love these curvy road shots.

I might burn in the snow in the area of the arrow toward the top mid left...but aside from that, very nice shot.
Thank you for the comments and suggestions :) I increased the contrast and burned the snow a bit, and it's made quite a difference so thank you for that!:D
I just really wanted to do one of these shots and this is the only one that's turned out well in the couple of weeks I've been trying. :o

Would you mind posting your redo? I think I am not alone in saying that we would love to see it!
Love this shot... to me, it screams "inspirational poster"!!! Slap a little inspirational quote on say, a border, and there you go! Very nice and thanks for sharing!
Okay, here's the redo. Better? I think I might have burned in the snow too much?

i like the color boost!
the snow looks good to me, but the wood railing lefthand side has a pretty mean glare to it....
great shot! love the comp.

I agree with Kiley about the rail. Love the saturation used here!
Yeah, I noticed the railing aftward; I was too fixated on the snow and colour to notice it, hah.
Thanks for the comments :) Much appreciated.
