Wow, very striking!

Did you get lucky with the lightning strikes, or did you "cheat"..?

First, an admission. This image is actually from a very close friend. I did not take it. But.... I know quite a lot about his work. This is a 15 minute exposure of La Jolla, Ca. The lightning bolts actually occured at different times during the exposure, almost exactly 5 minutes apart.

Glad you enjoyed. I'll post some more of his work in a bit if you're interested.

Hi Spleisher,

I'm a pretty mellow admin - but people posting other people's photos...not sure.

Do you have this person's legal consent to upload these photos?

Thanks
Marko

Sorry for that. Certainly not trying to stir anything up. Yeah, Jeff is a good friend of mine, and I'm quite sure he would not mind me posting his work for folks to see. I understand your concern though. I've run message boards before and you do have to be concerned about legal issues, copyright, etc. Anyway, no harm meant... just thought folks would enjoy it on a photography forum.

Have a good one!

That's pretty good but not good enough.
I want you to say 100% sure, not quite sure.

And until you can say 100% (meaning please go and ask him) I would ask that you refrain from posting his work.....but feel free to post your own ;)

Thanks
Marko
