I took this photo of Knox College at the University of Toronto yesterday and can't decide if I prefer the colour or sepia. Thoughts? Criticisms?

hmmm, tough choice ... I love the sepia, but it does show the clouds too much for one reason or another. I think the clouds are a bit distracting from the image. They do not show as predominately on the colour one. I'd see what I could do about the sky in the sepia one. Maybe burn it a wee bit, i dunno ....

Thanks Matt, I can adjust it to tone down the clouds...still can't decide though, lol.

I guess I get a two-for-one with this shot!

I think the Sepia for me because there's not a lot of colour in the photo anyhow and whats there isn't anything noteworthy.

I can't decide either. I would try a contrasty B&W and see what that looks like

Sepia for me all the way. The details in the building are better rendered and the shot as a whole is much more striking imo.

Thanks Marko. The more I look at them the more I like the sepia as well.

Hi Greg
I hope you don't get upset but I really wanted to play with the shot in B&W. Feel free to hate it.

No hate here Bambi, I appreciate the input. I think the B&W looks great...I try that as well. Thanks!

I like the sepia better - the clouds come out much clearer and with more depth in that version.
