nikon d 60

dose any on own a Nikon d60 im thinking of getting on? just want to see what you think of them

I owned one.... they are good cameras....but are limiting and only for a certain type of photographer...

if ur only desire is to shoot family/vacation pics with one or two lenses then D60 is an excellent product

if you plan on photography becoming a somewhat serious hobby than you should grab a camera with a screw drive focusing system which increases your lens selection.

if you are on a budget pick up a used or new D80... great camera that is cheap right now because it's on the brink of being discontinued... don't let that get you upset.. the D80 is proven...

if budget is not so important pick up the new D90

when camera shopping, i ruled out the D60 because of the lack of an auto focus drive in the camera. once you get an SLR, you will want tons of lenses. the lenses for the D60 will be limited & more expensive.

i rencently got the d80 (june). its my 1st dslr, stepping up from the advanced p&s sony h5. i love it & would highly recommend it...
