Ha! Ha! I kind of get the impression you are pretty much on your own in much of Australia. The outback seems like it's in your backyard.

Thanks JAS. As you see from all the sets that most of the roads were no more than trails. We would travel for hours and hours before we would come across a little town. And it would seem that half the buildings in the towns are pubs. I guess I know now why Aussies are such big beer drinkers. After eating dust for most of the day you are thirsty as hell.

It's very inhospitable land out there ... not hard to be alone ... excluding dingoes, snakes, lizards and other wildlife.

It may be inhospitable land and isolated, bit it is beautiful land and quite the adventure.
