Sup everyone!

Though I would introduce myself. So im 19 and im just discovering photograhy, im currently a student in mechanical engineering and really thinking of going in the photograhy programs that my cegep offers. I don't have a slr camera yet but im starting to save money to buy one(student and money doesn't go together :P). So basically, im here to learn about it and maybe make it a career. The more i read about it and use my crappy camera the more I like it. Anyway seems like a nice forum here.

Hi and welcome :). I can't remember the exact title of the post to reference it for you, but there was a post here not too long ago with some amazing pictures that were taken with a point and shoot camera. It was referenced there and I will reference it again for you.... "its not the camera but the photographer that takes the pictures." I'm sure your camera is not as "crappy" as you think it is... keep shooting and you'll see :)
