maybe but that doesn't explain the large hinged window on the front. you can see the the 3 hinges along the top so it looks like half of the front opens up. which is not a typical outhouse feature :)

looks like some kind of farm stand. You'd open that window and prop it up with something. maybe the sign was for new potatoes or something. Good eye.

WD wins. It is an old veggie stand for new potatoes. Looks like business has been pretty slow last few years.

Like maybe the potatoes aren't even making it from the fields to the stand? (My granddad ended up doing that during the depression. Farmers were kinda letting people get away with it because they couldn't afford to get stuff to market anyway)
