Caught a couple of photos of him which I liked. Didn't really know what it was when I was shooting it :headslap:

Nice shots! I like the difference from the smooth guy in the 1st one the rough character in the 2nd. Neat!

Nice pics Iguanasan. Never seen one of those birds before. I'm guessing is native to Canada.

Beautiful captures! And just why do they call things common? He is uncommonly beautiful, I think!

Love the sheen caught in the sun Iggy, very well done.
They sure are beautiful in the right light.

Thank you, JAS. I don't know how common they are either, I may have seen them before but I hadn't really ever "seen" them.
Thanks, HBG.
Thanks, MA.

Awesome Iggy, never seen one before!
Thanks, Michael. They apparently don't live in your neck of the woods (Common Grackle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Grackle) ). Of course, that doesn't matter much, I've never actually seen one before either. :(

Love the set!
how did you get the shot so crisp?? I don't suppose you were able to get a tripod very close to him?

Thank you, Bol Ray. I attribute the crispness to a steady hand and my Sigma 70-300mm zoom. I didn't have my tripod with me that day.
