Here's one of the Sydney Opera House, or rather the roof. What do you think?
My own thoughts, as always, are collected in my blog entry (http://www.photorookie.com/photo-analysis/84-sydney-opera-house).

fantastic photo, that is a very dramatic blue that you have captured and the curves are stunning. I love it. one small suggestion would be to crop it ever so slightly so that the top left of the building starts right in the corner of the frame... my two cents for what they are worth(a lot less than two cents BTW)
Excellent work I enjoyed looking at it.

Kawarthabob: I agree that it could be used in the monthly assignment, but since I didn't shoot it based on the assignment I won't post it there. However, I'll look out for future assignments.
Okmqaz42: I think you're right, it should end perfectly in the the top left corner, I'd pay two cents for that advice :)

This is great! A clever take on a building that must have been photographed a bazillion times, yet this is still recognisable as the opera house (once given a clue, perhaps :)). Nice blues too, why don't we get sky like that here in the UK  Excellent shot.

Thanks Thoughton. Having lived in the UK for a year (Bradford of all places) I can tell for certain that grey is much more characteristic for the English sky. I'll probably post a gray-sky pic of the Sage in Nottingham or Bullring in Birmingham later on ;)
