I really love the look of this one, Marko though it does have me a bit confused. Where the heck do you put your feet?

is it underwater? I love this photo. It definitely shows the harsher side of winter!

I was thinking the same as Bambi. Is it underwater? If so it's pretty deep. Not just the harsher side of winter, but the harsher side of spring with the rain and snow melt causing flooding.

Thanks for the comments. Yes indeed this bench is underwater or under snowy slushy mess. The water though is in an enclosed pond so no flooding issues.

Looks cold! Like the way the snow streaks.

Crazy! Yeah, for me I really like the streaky snow. That part was awesomely done. Perfect shutter speed for this shot.

Thanks again for the comments.
Funny story...I tried to get as close as I could....and as has happened before, lol....I got too close, fell through the ice to knee level and had my boots quickly fill with ice-water.
I'm very proud to say that I still shot for a full 45 minutes after that - lol.

Very cool pic Marko. I noticed a bench in your wider shot, in the "Parks" thread, in the same scenario. Love this closeup view also.
As for the shooting for 45 minutes after a bootfull of ice-water. Spoken like a true "Canadian" photographer.
