Let me know what you think about this image I captured when I was in Newport, Rhode Island last year. I was going for a darker mood here. Details are:

Camera: D70S/Manual Mode
Lens: Sigma f/4.0 10mm-20mm

Settings: Mode: Manual
Aperture: f/22
Shutter: 1/8s
ISO: 200
Focal Length: 10mm
Image Format: RAW

Post: Camera RAW - Exposure/Clarity/Sharpness/Luminosity adjustments
Photoshop - LucisArts Plug-In (Whyeth & Exposure tweaks)
Photoshop - Lab Color Channel "a" push
Photoshop - medium vignette added
Photoshop - light saturation/masked to bring out some of the colour in the rocks only
Photoshop - Dodge & Burn

20 minutes or less of post.

This is very good, I especially like the strong composition.

Really nice compostition. Only thing is that I feel my eyes are focusing more on the rocks in front than the lighthouse. You could try to burn/dodge a little :)

Yeah, that's what I thought. The large rock in the foreground dominates a little too much...

Otherwise, great shot.

This is a very strong image undeed, well done.

Agree with fante, you could dodge the lighthouse a wee bit more.

A very slight crop on the left side might also help the composition (not sure).

Excellent use of leading lines to guide the eye to the main subject, however agree with the others that the foreground is too strong; my suggestion would be to recrop in portrait aspect with the light of the lighthouse positioned at the upper-left third.

I get the feeling of literally being PULLED INTO the image! Well done! Very well done!
