A fallen stele

Hey all,
I posted one among the group of stele from an ancient kingdom here (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f33/ancient-stele-13984.html#post98283). This is a fallen one from the same place.

This time I gave it a shot in colors. What do you think?

Hi Yisehaq - Link does not work.

On the plus side, I like the composition here. Very cool structure! Nice lines and good guiding of my eye.
On the minus side, seems to me this shot may be underexposed which might account for the colour fringing in the structure toward the background. It also looks a bit oversharpened.

If this is easy to reshoot, and you did not use a tripod, I'd recommend another go at it for even better sharpness.

It's a 1000 Km from where I live and I don't think I will visit in the near future.

My initial intentions were to emphasize the texture and design on the structure. I may have overdone it as you mentioned.
Here is another try. Any better?
