View Full Version : No Picnic At Agate Beach
It least this one has a sky anyway. Please tell me what's right and what isn't.

I'm no pro, but I think there's too many trees off to the left, and they're really dark. The darkness of the trees sort of detracts from the nice colors in the rest of the frame. On the positive site it's an interesting shot with the tables against the shore.

great exposure control on the whites!! well done! I agree that you could probably lose some of the trees on the left but I am unsure how much because I like the peek of blue through the trunks. I think you could lose some of the sky above the cloud though

I liked this shot right off the bat because the version my mind is used to would have been shot on a warm summers day but you pull it off in winter:thumbup: It seems to me though that the breaking waves are a tad blown out but anymore darkness in the trees would have been way worse. Overall I really like this image.

I like the leading lines and I like the composition. A tad blown out with the waves. I's a strong image with contrast between the snow and the water. Well done:)
