Well i'm okay at photoshop, i'm not pro. I want to see how you would fix up this otherwise "bad" photo. I'm posting my take on it right below. What i did was make selections in a new layer one for the beach and trees, the other for the sky. I put color on the new layers and blended them into the original layer. Adjusted curves and channels.

I played around a little in Lightroom and this is what I came up with.

Thanks Marko!
Asnow: Good work as well! You took out the horrible grayness in the picture.

>Overlay (Sky grad)
>Overlay (Add some colour)
>Overlay Dodge Burn
>Vignette
>B/W conversion
>Sharpening

Good job Richard. Got some nice hard light in both pictures.

Hi folks,
Here's my attempt using LightZone, where I added local contrast, bumped up the "Vibrance" to 40, and sharpened. Hope you like it.

Figured I might take a moment to tackle this one also.
I didn't do too much other than straighten, duplicate layers and apply a blur then blend together and adjust levels and colour. A bit limited with this small res version.
