This photo was taken in the late afternoon, which is a civilized time for photography according to this City mouse. The 8 mm lens was presenting me with a problem, though. How to keep the sun out of the picture? Sometimes it was impossible as witnessed by the flare and blow outs in the left part of the photo but the bigger problem was uneven sky colour in such a wide lens.

Yup nice tones here! I see what u mean w/the wide angle and sky tonality in this shot - fwiw, it's not that distracting to my eye and nothing that some burning couldn't fix.

Found the same with my 8-16mm sigma when shooting at 8mm and I like the shot as well

I don't find the flare distracting at all. very cool ultra wide perspective.
