...I was doing something quite similar recently. I wasn't going to put up a thread with this stuff because they are just for play really, but feel a bit guilty for potentially threadjacking, soo...

It's amazing how fun this kind of stuff can be - especially with glass and light, as exposure has an amazing affect on which details come though:

What's amazing is that I did just take a few pictures of this on the window sill, which looked, well... awful. It's really the black, plain background that starts turning these things into something more "arty" than real. Especially when you play around with orientation and angles.

I'm definitely going to have to try PK's waterplay though, looks cool...

I really like the first one... it looks almost like water flowing down around the sides etc.... :highfive:

They are really cool, it took looking at a few pics to realise it was a glass and not water falling lol, love the first one, looks like a melting Ice cube dropping :)

These are really cool Ben H. Nice job!

The first image you posted has excellent highlights. Although all the images you posted are interesting, a few of them have muted highlights which could easily be improved with curves or levels.
