Hi,
This is my trial to catch a dark/sad mood portrait. I don't know how much I succeeded.
What do you think?

You've definitely stepped up your game, Yisehaq. These are excellent portraits. I favour the first one because, to me, it has more pleasing tones and light. I'm not sure that you captured "dark/sad" but you definitely captured "thoughtful/pensive". You can see that the model definitely has something on his mind but it doesn't feel sad to me.

Thanks Iggy!

On second thought that is true. I stand corrected on the mood of this guy.

I am totally with Iggy on this on Yisehaq. These are wonderful portraits! I like both of them but am leaning towards the second because of the more dramatic light. It seems like I have spotted him lost in thought.

Very nice portraits! I would agree with the others here. I don't see sad but I do see deep in thought.

Great moody portraits, the pose in the second shot looks more comfortable to me. Nice work
