Hope you don't mind, but here is an oldie, taken with a panasonic point and shoot a couple of years back. Entered it into a "president's challenge" at out photo club, did not do very well. The theme was "from below". Anyway, here it is ...

Jude, I know it's warm here on the island but I don't think that critter is indigenous to the area. Is there an aviary in Sidney?

Andrew, sadly there isn't an aviary here, this was taken at the Aquarium in Vancouver.
