I was wondering if a podcast on the art of printing and selecting the appropriate paper for display is in the works? I often run into the issue of trying to determine the correct paper for the print of my images.

The issue I am facing is that I see all these adds for paper and then I wonder which paper would be used for black and white display and which paper would be good for color?

A very nice suggestion! Love it.
Paper is something that is REALLY important to the final product if the photograph is to be displayed and/or handled.

Just as an FYI though, this request goes in the queue and is at least 1 month away...

Thanks for the suggestion! Marko

plus, an earlier podcast - where you spoke about hand coloring techniques touched on paper a little bit as well.

Hi Marko

I think this is a great idea! I'm very new to photography and would like to try printing some of my photos. Would you be able to go through all the steps to get to print? (margin size, resolution, does print come out darker than my screen appears, are there prefered sizes to print to?), that sort of stuff.

Thanks
EJC

Also, could you possibly include a little info on printers themselves? Like, how big of a difference does it make if you choose one type of printer over another and stuff like that. (I'm looking into photo printers right now and don't really understand the how each differs :p)
