I think the blue item is a bit close to the frame for me and a bit too soft.

It doesn't say fishing lure to me, even though I finally figured out what it is. It looks like jewelry or something. I think you need to get the hook point in sharp focus and render the rest OOF. If it were me, I'd play with Depth of field here and see what worked. This alas, doesn't.

current comp and dof field aren't really doing anything for the shot. Appears to be a tungsten dipsey sinker on spinnerbait ( never seen it rigged that way around my waters). May be try different textures to lay the lure on, i.e., old wood plank, drift wood, textured cement. As well I would try some different perspectives
