This is one of those things that I talk about often in the podcast...going for the more unusual angle.
I got right up underneath this leaf in order to shoot it.
What do people think about the treatment here?
Thx as always - Marko

Unfortunately without the title, a lot of people would not know what they are looking at, and further for some, even the title does not help. This in turn, renders any approach somewhat minimal in effectiveness. I am not sure how this problem can be solved. :)

I like the approach, but for me it would work better if the focused portion were larger than the unfocused portion. Nice approach however.

compositon is interesting and different.... subject IMO is not...
i've noticed a trend in your preference to shoot old withering things... what does that mean?

I dunno, I thought this one was really cool...
On the day I went out all the leaves were withering...so i took withering pix.
I hope I'm not starting to get crusty  :D

i wouldn't worry about it... i was just making a humorous observation...
besides... if everyone was taking pictures of the same ol red leaf from the same ol perspective there wouldn't be much variety out there...
