....Ontario, that is.
Looking towards the low level traffic bridge from North.

Little further North upriver. Not so lucky bridge.

The last shot reminds me of a fortress or castle....neat.
I quite like the birds fly by and the light of the first shot.:)

Thanks Casil. The birds were actually a target for the shot also.
As for a castle. This is the closest we got that day to one, and it is just a couple more km's up from the derelict bridge. (you may have seen some other shots of this in another thread)

I was just looking at those shots around the river and the ice there and thinking, if I ever get over there, I am sooooo going to need one of you ph.ca's to guide me because I would get myself into all sorts of trouble I reckon. I wouldn't know what was safe to walk on and what wasn't for instance!

that's not a problem. :) besides we'll need you so we stay out of trouble in Australia- between the crocs, spiders, poison toads etc......

Like most things of this nature it's blown out of proportion :) Poison toads ... I could show you a dozen of them in our backyard any night of the week! They really aren't an issue. Crocs ... only above a certain latitude, none around here. Spiders, yes we have the worlds deadliest in Brisbane and a few others, but again rarely seen and even rarer to be bitten. And I spend a lot of time in the forests as you've seen yet I rarely see anything dangerous at all.
That old ruin is cool HBG. Be a great spot to return to when there's a nice sky to go with it.
