A little IR shot I took a while ago.

I am not a fan of the post processing on this and the comp is a little to dead center. I am a fan of post processing but this one does not work for me. What does the original look like?

Hi raiven and Welcome!

As scorpio_e suggests this shot isn't really working. It had lots of potential though. I Love the whispiness of the clouds in the background.

In terms of things that need to be improved;
- The part of the bridge under the lion is blown out.
- the focal point is leaning to one side and is too centered
- The railings are sharper than the lion

Hope that helps
Marko

Thank you for your comments. I had an original print scanned and saved to cd by London Drugs and the image is much softer than the original. The orignial is much more contrasty and the bridge although white still had some detailing.

Here is another couple of IR images that I did about the same time, if you don't mind commenting on them. (Again it was copied by London Drugs.)

These are much better and the first shot is better than the second. The first shot is nice and sharp and has good tones throughout the image. (sky needs burning though)

How did you do this infrared? Thx Marko

Yes, it is true infra red. The images were done by a lab in town. I have no formal training, completely self taught so far, although I am going to be starting a course soon.

Thanks for your comments.

I see a very slight greenish hue, which is common in IR shots. I would correct it in post.
