Thoughts?
Hm, it looks sharper on flickr. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/12796996@N06/5165003260/)

It's sharper on Flickr because it's been resized. It's down to 79KB right now. What were the dimensions and size of the uploaded file?
Oh, and by the way, awesome shot! Glad it's not that cold around here yet!

Great pic. It looks almost like the frost is growing up from the bottom of the picture. Happy to say we haven't had any of that around my place....... yet!!
Thanks guys! I've been packed with exams since mid-September, it was nice to get out the camera for something more than just a snapshot! :)
Iggy, I'm not sure about the dimensions; I just downloaded the "medium" size off flickr (since the original was too big, and I couldn't figure out how to link directly to flickr), and uploaded that directly from the computer :/
P.S. Also, it's actually not that cold here at all! Normally, we're knee-deep in snow by now, but we've been having pleasantly warm weather for most of the day, and seeing frost only in the early hours :D

Well, the medium size should be fine for dimensions (H x W) but was probably larger than 250KB. Images larger than 250KB get adjusted by the board software which is what happened here. I use Picasa at home and do an export at size 800 and then check the JPEG compression and adjust it until it's just under 250KB which seems to solve the problem most of the time.
Glad to hear it's not too cold yet. Sunny and 8 for tomorrow/today. Not sure I care about the temperature but it'll be nice to see the sun!
Ah, thanks! That worked with the new photo I just posted :)

Cool capture and nicely shot.
Thanks, Redneck! :) I'm going to be trying again, as soon as we get frost again.
