this is one of the retired navy ships that is docked in the LaHave river in Bridgewater. It's controversial as many people think it's an eyesore. I can't blame them really, but anything can be neat under the right conditions.

Nice shot! It's really neat to see an old ship . The cloudy sky makes the perfect background and what a great reflection . :)

Great photo! It's funny how people's eyesores are often the best photos?

That's one of the navy's old supply vessels. Did they already tow one away from there a short while back? Passed by this on my brief visit and was sorry I didn't stop. Really nice exposure for the sky and reflections.

thankyou again. Yes CL they did tow out one (the Fraser I think) and I think it was sunk for a reef but again am uncertain.

Kind of like a veteran...Nobody wants them around after they've done their bit sigh! Nice reflections for sure here Bambi

Thanks Bambi. Looks even better bigger. Like the grey clouds looming over the old grey ship. Really sets a mood here.
