My little hick town had a car show last weekend.... I figured it would make for a good exercise...
I have to say right off the bat... automotive photography is wrought with complications.... mainly the cars are parked so close making it hard to isolate any particular subject.... the constant onslaught of gawkers were always showing up in reflections.... i filled up a 4gig card and had only a pittance of semi-effective images... i'm not even really happy with any of them..
i'm not a car nut... but some of these cars were fairly effective in their polish..
ps- Check out the next thread i'm making here about polarizers... i use them frequently for my landscapes but they work miracles on automotive photography... i have a great A B example on a corvette...
